As a result of this conscious effort, Nenaco bagged the Healthy Port Award, from Department of Health Undersecretary Margarita Galon and DOH NCR Director David Lozada during the awarding ceremony of the DOH Search for Outstanding Places held at Atrium Hotel, Pasay City. For the year 2003-2004, Negros Navigation was again named by the Department of Health (DOH) as "The Most Outstanding Healthiest Port in NCR" for its recently concluded Philippine Health Promotion Program (PHPP).
